The Frassatian places

Since his death, Pier Giorgio has been – and continues to be – the point of reference for entire generations of young Christians, from all over the world, who have chosen him as a model of a Christian life capable of fully expressing the richness of youth. The figure of Blessed Pier Giorgio is known and present in all the countries of the world where the Catholic religion is professed. From Patagonia to New York, from Paris to the Philippines and Canada, from Poland to Ukraine and Nigeria, to give just a few examples, Pier Giorgio is known and there are many initiatives, groups, associations that, in addition to bearing his name, are promoted to spread this great figure, very much alive and working throughout the world, more and more. There are countless countries of origin of the pilgrims who come to Turin and Pollone from all over the world to retrace the steps and learn more about the life of the "man of the eight Beatitudes", as the then Cardinal Wojtyla called him, who later, having become Pope, beatified him on 20 May 1990, in front of tens of thousands of faithful, in St. Peter's Square.
