Blessed Virgin of Graces
Einaudi course 23. Place where Pier Giorgio received his first Communion and Confirmation. Where he experienced the daily Eucharist, and where, on the occasion of his funeral, all of Turin became aware of his greatness. Of particular note are: the right nave of the Church near the Altar, where Pier Giorgio prayed daily and where a plaque commemorates him; the Chapel of the Blessed Sacrament, in the left nave in the center, where there is a mosaic depicting the social saints of Turin, including Pier Giorgio; the Frassati Chapel, built in the basement of the church on the occasion of his beatification. Upon request to the parish priest, it is possible to view the baptism register where Pier Giorgio's baptism is recorded, celebrated at home, because there were fears for his life, whose ceremony was later replaced in Pollone (Biella).
