FRASSATI TRAIL OF MARSICA

 The Frassati della Marsica trail starts from the church of Madonna a Monte, next to the building that for decades hosted the summer camps of Catholic Action, up to the meadows of Sant'Elia, passing through beech forests, mountain meadows and undergrowth. 

Inside the Abruzzo National Park, starting from an altitude of 970 meters, you reach 1.440 meters of altitude for a total route of just over four kilometers. For 9 years AZIONE CATTOLICA DEI MARSI AGESCI CAI VALLELONGA COPPO DELL'ORSO and MUNICIPALITY OF COLLELONGO have joined together on the last Saturday of June to trace this path, together with the walkers of the CAI of Abruzzo and many other friends.
